is there a way to order over the net, I did not see a way on the site. Or do I have to call to order . I am fixing to get the k n air intake

If you want the K&N, just call Gary @ X-Metal... I don't think he has eCommerce set up yet.

Oh, and the JMB system is WAY COOL. Check it out before you make a decision, for sure! :)

the obvious question at this point is what vendor here sells the JMB??? I had the k&n on my rc and while it was ok... I don't think I'd do it again...

That would be "JMB Justin". Shoot him a PM. :)

There is no vendor that sells his products as of right now...

EED (exotic engine Development) is a vendors that makes an incredible crankcase breather system!

Everybody has there opinion about the K&N Aircharger. I can tell you that we stop watched my truck several times and my times were faster with the aircharger......It's kindof one of those things you will have to decide for yourself.

there is alot of controversy about the cai.
every one that i have talked to,told me to just install a drop in.
i purchased mine from roe racing among other things, and i am very happy with the out come.
they have a great deal of knowledge.

we use a KN system with a breather mounted right on the valve cover-$10.
you can see one pictured below. that keeps the hot oily air out of the intake charge. you wont see me do much e-commerce, as i am old school in the sense, that want to talk to you and make sure that you get the right products, and you dont get something you dont need for your application or intentions. you can reach me at xmetal or my powersports store-812-477-1740, anytime to discuss anything.

I never liked breathers on the valve covers. they look ghetto, they take away your crankcase vacuum source (the intake manifold) and once you lose crankcase vacuum you can expect to start seeing oil drips in the driveway soon after.

If you're running boost, and you still have the breather hooked up, you'll get crankcase pressure which is even worse. so in that case, put the breather on. The ultimate goal is to try and keep a vacuum in there for less wind resistance and to prevent oil from leaking out of the seals.

Oil catch cans are amazing for this purpose. Vacuum pumps work really really well also.

the gen3 engine pulls vaccum from 2 other sources in the intake manifold. even with a boosted engine, you still need to vent the crankcase as the gen3 with a supercharger can suck the cases completley to a total vacuum and collapse the rear main seal. that breather pictured is the just the one that vents to the airbox, so as to keep hot oil-misted air out of the intake charge. yes, a breather tank is nice, but some guys only want to spend 10 bucks to get the job done
