I'd love to have a Yamaha R1 and a KTM 950 Supermoto in my stable for street bikes... R1 for triple digit speeds and the 950 for flogging back country roads...

Im not to fond of the drive-by-wire system...i would rather have a standard throttle cable. You can adjust the pcm too much with an electronic throttle....

I've ridden the new R6 with the same sysem, if you didn't know it was drive-by-wire, you'd never even suspect it. They did a very good job with it. A bit of traction control wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing with 160+ hp on tap.:burnout: I see the new '07 GSXR1000 has a switch on the handlebar to select different fuel\timing maps - rain, performance, etc.
