Yes this! It happened to me, thought it was a tensioner issue, it was the damper coming loose, wiped out my crank.
Thank god I had the extended warranty..
You sure you have the coolant overflow to the right port on the reservoir? When the system gets hot the coolant expands and pushes out to the reservoir, then when it cools the system creates a vacume and pulls the coolant back into the radiator.
If the hose going to the overflow tank is hooked...
cost was over $500,
make offer, i understand its been sitting since 07 and sold as is..it is a factory mopar part for the viper, and replaces the weak plastic slave on the ram..

a stupid tech wrote on the box that this does not fit an srt-10 ram, no **** thats why it comes with adapter plates!!
they were going to install it and my clutch when they did the warranty for a damper failure..
clutch got installed but not the hydros..

Sold my 04, I have an uninstalled viper hydro clutch upgrade kit purchased new from dc performance around 2008 for sale, make offer.
Also the fac infinity sub amp was working when pulled. Make offer.

Ok sorry I just took ofence to that statement, did not know you did not post it, as for the leak if it is the pump it's more then likely the front seal wich would require the front pulley to be removed anyway, try running the engine and have somebody turn the wheel and watch for a leak their is...
