    Paxton guys: bypass valve noise

Agree. Too much noise when I installed my Paxton. I carefully ran a hose down and to the front closer to where the water pump is mounted and put a filter on the end of the hose. Been running it for 6 years now and is very quiet and works perfect.

    Paxton Belt - Help

So I went to change my Paxton belt after 18000 miles and the Gates I puchased a year ago is 8 rib not 7 based on a part number from someone on this site. I did a search and now see the confusion. So, does anyone know FOR SURE if there is a Gates or Goodyear number without going to Paxton?

    DC performance is great!

Just had DC performance install a new clutch in my truck yesterday. They do VERY good work and are just great people. Thanks to Dan, Tony and the rest of the group. From a very picky customer. VIPER HP

    Thank You Stinker

I posted the question on how to bleed the clutch linkage. Thank you Stinker as your instructions worked perfect. After searching web sites and talking to Dodge mechanics and searching my service manual no one but Stinker had the correct answer.

    How to Bleed the Clutch

Stinker, To confirm your instructions, you have someone push the clutch in all the way before you open the bleed screw, then open it and bleed it off, then close the bleed screw and then have them release the clutch slowly. Is that right?? That makes sense and is aliittle different that...

    How to Bleed the Clutch

Thanks you guys are great!!! Thats what I wanted to know!!!

    How to Bleed the Clutch

The reason I asked is when the engine is hot and you are stopped, it is hard to get into gear but if I turn the engine off it goes into gear just fine. I think the clutch fluid is old and looses its efficiency when hot just like in the race bikes. All I want to know is if you can bleed it out at...

    How to Bleed the Clutch

I need to bleed the clutch and have some questions. I have done a search and read Boomers instructions and it does not answer my questions. First, can you bleed it using the bleed screw on the bell housing right above where the hydraulic line goes in? I assume you can't get to the slave without...

    Bedding Procedure for brakes

The bedding process works great. I've never had brakes work this good. They have been perfect for 8,000 miles.

    Throttle sluggish when hot

Sean, you are so correct. I'm running the 10k resistor now and on a hot day it is great. As I've said, I did my own Paxton install about 1 year ago and have the BG Paxton flash. I always have thought the sluggish when hot problem has to be more than just hot air. This problem has bugged the crap...

Boomer, what size resistor do you recommend?

    Throttle sluggish when hot

My Seat Of The Pants Dyno says this just might fix the heat soak power reduction problem! I put in a 10k resistor. If this works I may sell my Paxton and buy a Roe supercharger just out of respect for SEAN ROE'S great knowledge and disclosure. Sean if you read this how did you determine if this...

    Throttle sluggish when hot

So I wonder if this is the fix to the power robbing heat soak problem that Boomer used to talk about, but would only install if he was doing your Supercharger installation. Is it Boomer?? Is the secret out now? If so, Boomer you should take some credit for discovering it some time ago!

    Throttle sluggish when hot

I know that heat soak is not a result of timing, etc. What I said was "heat soak problem" and what I should have said was the dramatic difference in performance when the engine is colder vs hot. Maybe the difference is more noticeable with a supercharger because of the hot intake air which in...

    Throttle sluggish when hot

So do I understand this correctly. I have an RC 05 with Paxton and had BG flash the PCM, lower thermostat and fan. Heat soak is still a noticeable issue. So the thought is that the resistor would also help my Paxton flashed PCM by not pulling out so much advance? Or is another way of saying it...
