Yeah, I have ordered a lot of stuff from Mcmaster carr and was considering some stainless bolts from them. I just wanted to get an idea of how long of a bolt everyone has used in their applications. Can I go much longer than 1" or is this length my best bet?

I've got a set of Bassani headers I am going to be installing soon and am looking to replace the supplied plated grade 5 bolts with something better. The supplied bolts are 1" in length, but when looking through ARP's catalogue, the longest 5/16 header bolts they offer are only 3/4" in length...

Hi everyone, I have an opportunity to buy a set of Bassani headers from a friend. For those of you that have these headers, did you notice any significant change in the exhaust note over a stock system? Also, has anyone noticed any droning at highway speeds with these installed?
