Good luck. Make sure after towing for 2.5 hours that you cool your truck down a little before your pull.

Sorry to hijack but wouldnt it burn up the clutch by towing with the RCs?

I don't know as much as Billy on the subject, but I do know that he pulls his Duster on a trailer (just under 5,000lbs) and has not had any issues with pulling. He doesn't like using the 10 to pull the Duster, but right at the moment, it's the best vehicle to do it.

Dyno day

I hope shes ok?you will be posting soon,I will check back!! as far as towing is
concerned owners manual has all info:D

good deal! glad you desided to do it! let us know ASAP and let the truck cool down for about 30 min b4 you pull

It all comes down to how you use the clutch. If you don't strain it, you can tow even with the stock clutch.

I'm back!!! What a long day.

First, as far as the towing. I made an app. 2 months ago to drop off my Twin Turbo Vette at the shop today. Of course I was gonna use my 07 Silverado but when I talked them into dyno'n my 10 today ...well....why not kill 2 birds with one stone?!!! And I took it real easy on the clutch.

OK, for what everyone is waiting on.

just a reminder, truck is stock cept for a FLO PRO muffler added by the PO.

o' and just for comparision sake, they did 3 runs on a stock truck last Dec in 71 degree temp and the runs were 428 and 430

temp 83
First run: 374 . 409tq

check your vin number for recall on your cam. they supposedly fixed it but it the PO didn't know much about the truck then they would not have known about the loss of power.
