push the shifter up into park and see if thet works

Sorry i am not a mechanic so i cant b of much help

well thats not gunna fix it, lol.

has it ever givin u problems befor? had a ford work truck that did that, had to wiggle it back and forth in and out more an mor every time i drove it for weeks, then finnaly it would not turn at all,

had to have new ignition installed in the company truck, cuz i would never own a pos ford.

Well it's spending the night in the parking lot. I'll get it towed in the morning.

put the key in the ignition and tap slightly with something solid into the cylinder while turning, your lock cylinder is seized.

Option A. Turn the wheel over as hard as you can to the side and try turning the key. Not sure if our trucks do it but my car had a anti theft locking system.

Option B. try moving your shifter to a gear then back to Park (if u have a QC)

I called Oreilly's Auto parts they will have a new ignition lock cylinder assy for me in a few hours. I'd rather change it myself then have it towed across town then have to get a rental car and deal with all of the politics. I'll keep yall posted.

Ok that worked, thanx. I was able to take a key apart so I wouldn't damage the internals. I smacked it with a hammer and it freed up. It still jams, but Carmax help me out and I have an appointment monday to get it changed. For now I left the key in the ignition, but I took the internals back out so it will only run for a few seconds... should any locals get any ideas.

Read about your troubles, what is situation now?

I got the truck running. I have to leave the key in the ignition. I will be there Saturday. Getting a new ignition cylinder assy on monday at the local dodge place.

Well today I had Dodge replace the ignition lock cylinder. Carmax payed them and I just paid a $75 deductible. I guess they reprogrammed my one good key, so I am all set. No more issues.
