pOST SOME PICS GUYS. I PLANNING ON GETTING ONE THIS SUMMER AND WAS WONDER IF THE FITMENT IS GOOD AND HOW MUCH WAS THE WEIGHT DIFFERENCE FROM THE STOCK HOOD

There is VIS carbon fibre hoods on ebay.

I don't know the whole weight -/+ tho

ViS hood. Your current hood shocks will probably be too strong for the hood. You'll notice when the hood is shut. I'm still looking out to see if I can get a weaker set of shocks. For now I just disengage the shocks when the hood is down.

Yes the whole hood is carbon fiber. I sent it to a bodyshop and they painted it as I envisioned it to look like. I found an old post that answers your questions....

A company in Cali that sells them.. Octane Motorsports is the name of the place. It was like a little over $900 shipped. But if you see it on eBay (where I first saw it) the damage was $945.00 plus $175.00 shipping. They say the middle man is the riddle man..

My truck is all black and i want to leace it all carbon fiber look, So i would not have to do anything but transfer over hardware and put it on correct

I might actually buy one but its either the hood or powdercoat the srt10 rims black....HMMMMM

IMO :dontknow:black powdercoated SRT wheels are all too common. I'd go with the hood.

Yeah and im still going to get the hood jsut wait till my friend gets the cash for my srt10 hood. I think SRT10 rims are to common and is why im going to get them powdercoated cause every ram i seen has stock OEM srt10 and i have only seen one powdercoated in a quad cab. I know a few guys with original color and i want to get away from looking like them

Getting a carbon fiber hood for anything other than looks is retarted on a vehicle that weighs almost 3 tons- to save weight. IMO you could spend that $1000 in a lot better ways.
