I just bought a 04 Viper truck this past week. This is my first car/truck I bought on my own. This also the first stick I have ever driven so its a lot of new things for me. I come from a Mopar family (7 out of the 8 vehicles are Mopars) and I had always wanted a Viper since I was a kid. Since my insurance wouldn't insure a Viper (I'm only 20 so I don't really blame them) I figured I would get the truck. Looks like there is a lot of good info on this site and I look forward to learning a lot about my new truck and seeing what people are doing with there trucks.

Welcome
Post up some pics.

I did put my first tank of gas in it... Its my first vehicle that needs super. So 100 bucks latter I had a full tank :)

Chargerman, I have cut my fuel bill in half and still driving the same number of miles every week, Simple, always fill up at half tank and you just spend 50 bucks....works every time!:burnout::rock::itsme::itsme:

That does work but this is just a weekend play truck so i might need to fill up once a month. Its just bad right now because I have been driving a lot trying to figure out the whole stick thing.

I just got it Tuesday and have been busy getting plates and all of the other legal stuff done so I could drive it. So no pics yet but I will post them when I take them.

Its red, bone stock, 19K miles, and has the factory nav. The first things I'm looking at getting are a Cal Car Cover as its going to live outside, new projector headlights and fog lights, HIDs, LED taillights, and K&N CAI. When I bought the truck the guy gave me a deal on a set of gibson shorty headers so I will be installing those too.

Skip the k&n cai. It will slow u down. Just a drop in k&n filter is better.

I've heard that the cai isn't a better performer but not that it's worse. Has anyone done a side by side comparisons?
