Just curious if anyone puts their "Build Number" on their truck? Back when I was a Lightning owner, I know many guys bought Saleen style build number decals and placed them on their trucks...I did for one, in part because I was proud to have build #0005 for that year. (Usually below the headlight on the upper bumper... in other words facing the sky on the top of the bumper) I always thought it was kind of cool, since they are limited production vehicles.. but I also understand people dont always like decals...

I have seen it done VERY subtle too though, ie. a charcoal decal on a black truck, etc.

Curious what the 10 crowd thinks of this...:dontknow:

I personally am fine with the "L" guys and the stangs keeping that one.

Mines marked in the cab on the registry #. Outside of the truck prob not so much. I do see the stangs here in Houston with them all the time. Its prob a ford thing.

Same here. I have my Viper Truck Registry decal on my dash.:)

Tony's Venom Shifter that I installed has the same serial number......32

I have mine under the radio...I wonder how it would look on a ram since its mostly on the lightning and saleens

I seen one where the guy put his build number under the Dodge on the tail gate. Looked really classy. The numbers were about half the size of the Dodge letters

i thionk it sounds cool. i have a black truck and would put like a small (very small) flat or matte black decal on the outside, i also have a limited edition NR so i have a dash decal alredy, but i would like to get my reg sticker here before too long, just still deciding what and where, but i deff like the idea, i would rock a decal of sorts.

Mixed responses... Thats about what i expected. if i do something i'll post pics... still undecided.

i never got one but i lie the viper registry sticker a while back that went on the TB

I have an actual plaque on my dash that has the build number and "worlds fastest production truck", along with the viper logo, and under the hood on my valve cover a plaque that's says the date and time it was "born"...dunno if it was an option from the dealer, or because it was a srt track experience truck, I bought it used

Back in the days of old on the srt10forum, BigDodgeInAlaska had them made up. They went from 30-70 bucks depending on the size of the plaque. He also started doing Born on Plaques for the 2005's.

They were aluminum if I remember and were very cool!!!!!!

I think he was doing orders of about 50 (maybe 100) but didn't do to many orders, so what you have is rare but not OEM. Just Viper Truck Owners doing what Viper Truck owners do.

Hope that helps

Well mine is similar to that, but it's all red with white letters, logos....and I wasn't saying it was a factory option or track experience I was just guessing because...like I said I bought it used...also Jeff I wanted to let you know mine is number 2856, silver 04 RC, if you have any info on it, as to previous owners and stuff...and "SRT Track Experience" means the truck was used in that program which allowed consumers that were willing to pay to test drive each SRT vehicle for that production year on the track.

Yea, you have Hemibates truck.

If your plaque is red and white, yours was done by SLH Motorsports. He started making them after BDIA

Awesome Man

Some day if you want, PM me your VIN and I can finish the registration into the Registry

Have a great weekend

Jeff
