should have some by end of the week... ordered a custom clutch," carbon fiber/Kevlar" its been a while coming expect to see it soon

Any Update?

How is this build coming along?

we were up as high as 610rwhp, at 18% drivetrain loss thats in the 720 hp range, and ran into some trani issues.. Now re doing the trani.. We did some extensive tuning, some fuel system mods and several other things to tweek this beast.. I think its pretty much maxed out on a NA system that the Viper Engine provides..

I dont know what to do with this thing, seams that the power is tearing up a lot of the stock drivetrain,
There are several guys interested in this set up that are at our shop, so I might pull it and sell it to one of these guys who has more time to play with the braking parts that this hp is causing.. Maybe its just my truck but I just want to drive the dam thing lol.. So who knows maybe ill return her back to a stock head port and polish and just drive it.. Sucks when it sits broken for months on end..

So who knows.. Will let ya know how it turns out..

Will try to get a final dyno number on this thing when the trani is fixed up..

Now to get up to this hp the cost has risen quite a bit due to all the other crap we had to do to get to max power, its probably gonna be another 5k higher than we expected to get to this hp...

Starting to get a lil pricy for my blood, before you know it you have a 1000 here and an 1000 there and 1000 here and 1000 there and your in much deeper than you thought.. So I'm not sure on the total anymore but Id say add 5k to the previous price whatever that was to get it to this level..

But if you could get someone to produce some valve covers for ya that were not insanely expensive like the stockers, along with the intake " maybe a carbon fiber intake " there could be 3k off the top of the price.. Or if you provide all your own gen 4 components from a wrecked car or something would be ideal. Would be good if you could get the gen 4 trani as well.. which is designed to handle the large hp.. could save a lot of cash doin that... That is if you could find one..

What is the issue with the trans? There don't seem to be a lot of t56 issues that we hear about

was messing around with the beast and in 5th gear put her to the pin and that was it 5th gear is gone... Apparently they say 5th and 6th are not that strong,, But I have no idea with tranis thats what I was told..

That would make sense as they are over drive gears, the 610rwhp you got on the dyno was in 4th gear though correct?

yes that was on 4th gear,,

This dyno is a crazzy dyno it has video screens of the track and road coarse and shit, so thats how we messed it up just screwing around

It would have been nice if the price-point was lower for the Gen IV conversion but it did seem like an awful lot of equipment for ten grand. However, the good stuff is rarely cheap!

As the Gen IV and Striker cylinder head are very close in capabilities, it doesn't surprise me that the performance numbers are so close to each other.

Who knows, if the Strikers don't return soon, this Gen IV conversion kit might be one of the few remaining options for the old Gen IIIs.
