Those idiots were taking jumps at nearly 100 miles an hour. At least all it did was tweak the frame instead of causing catastrophic damage that would have left them stranded in the middle of the dessert.

In all fairness, manufacturers have been putting out ads of their trucks getting bashed for years. Take any truck out and drive it "like you saw in the commercial" and see how well it holds up.

Its a one of one car. What do you expect? Ive also seen one off pro built race cars burn to the ground. That kinda stuff happens when you push things to the limits.
