How they do in the rain?
Great, if you don't drive like a mad man you shouldn't have any issues
Ride is good I went with the 45 side wall instead of the stock 40 so that helps. Traction wise I can't compare them to the other tires out there but I know the Nitto's are probly close to half the price of a set of BFG'sI was looking at those Nitto's. I like the tread pattern. How's the ride?
The yoko prada spec-x?

Guys, please pay attention to whatever tire you decide on as far as speed rating! Many don't realize some of these tires aren't even rated to do what our trucks will run in 4th gear. They can separate at high speeds our trucks are capable of STOCK!! Also physically push your thumb into the sidewall! I've tested many and some are stiff reinforced sidewalls while some feel so soft you feel you could stick your thumb thru it (Nexan Roadian)
It does matter as your trucks weight will roll on those thin sidewalls producing unwanted loss of control.
I want to list my experience with tires on my 10 and other 22" vehicles.
Cooper- wear in 20K average highway and spirited driving.
Had one a couple weeks back totally separate bead/sidewall from tread section!!! This was my 2nd set and only 1 1/2 years old!
Fawk Cooper! Had a sidewall blowout from hitting a stick in the road on the same tire in 19"!!!!
BFG- had a set of 20" and they seemed great all the way around other than price. One of the Best!!!
Falken- premature wear and feathering/scalloping of tires, weak traction, terrible in rain. Lack of SIPING on tires will tell you they suck in rain
Siping is the thousands of little razor looking slices in the tread.
Pirelli - Expensive, long wear, great all weather traction. Long lasting due to a hard compound that prevents grip in full throttle situations.
Nitto- great tire all around including dry pavement full throttle runs.
Michelin - Expensive and good all around tire but wear prematurely due to softer compound rubber to promote traction
Good year- expensive, great handling, terrible tread wear, again likely due to softer compounds
Kumho- used to be a pos tire that has made it to the big leagues! They are in all forms of motorsports and often have sticky compounds offered for racing. Except in 22" of course. Great tire, great price
There are a vast selection of Chinese tires hitting the market at super cheap prices. I just paid $109 a piece for a pair I'm going to try.
They actually have a great sidewall, tread design, and looks. I plan to test handling, traction, and longevity to see how they fair. After my American Made Coopee Tire failure I'm looking outside the box this time!!!
Hope this helps some. I'll update if I remember another brand I have experience with.
