Not for a QC with 102k miles on a stock motor. Tranny was slipping on shifts, so I think I have a better pass in it. Also have QA1's all around now.

I am getting ready to install NX myself. I too, have heard that if the shot is not too big then it should not do any harm to the engine. I am going to set mine up for a 100 shot. That's interesting about the spark plugs. I did not know that. I definitely will put a cooler plug in when I do the install.

That's a good start. However, do what Rick is doing, be sure to install a A/F gauge. KNOW where your A/F is. The canned tunes you get will be safe rich. You will leave power on the table with them.

Find out what the minimum (leanest) A/F threshold is for the engine on NOS and stay safely above it. It's all about the ZERO tollerance. You can only make one mistake going too lean and you will nuke the engine.
