I have the aluminum door and I did mine and left the bolts polished and I like it, I think it matches my black exhaust plates with the polished rivets on them, I'm sure you can see it in my pics

Sorry, not a fan. I've never understood why anyone tries to bring attention to their fuel door. If it's a different color, blacked out, polished, or chromed it still doesn't make since to bring attention to it. It's like trying to make a fancy blemish! If I repaint my truck, I would love to do a fuel cell and have the fuel door shaved off!!!
