Saw a cop get shot today.

If its a active investigation they may not want to talk in detail about it, but even then they would/should acknowledge there was a incident.

Easy now, he is just stating what he was told. I also found it a little strange that when I 1st saw this I looked and could not find a news story about it but gave the op the benefit of the doubt. Now, I'm not so sure but don't think I will spend any more time on it.

C'mon guys, maybe the guy was having a bad day and wanted everyone to give him a pat on the back so he fabricated a story. A very elaborate one at that, but still. I woulda said I saved a cat from a tree or something... less verifiable if i was feeling that low.

I sincerely believe that in the 20 minutes that it took to get real police to the scene, he would have just disappeared into the night. I'm probably the one that is stupid in this situation, but if I could go back, I would make the exact same choices again. Have a happy new year VTCOA! This could have been a lot worse than it was. THEN I WOKE UP!!!
