Just did a couple of pulls today. First pull, the tires slipped on the roller. I had to crank it down pretty hard. I am thinking the stock exhaust/cats are pretty restrictive.

There were a few 2006 trucks that had retarded cam timing from the factory, those numbers are very low!

Maybe I'm missing something, but why does the sheet say 1978 Dodge 440?

Thats interesting. Did you guys happen to take cranking compression numbers before and after?
It would be interesting to see what your truck reads on my dyno, it has made lower readouts than some other Calgary area dyno's on other cars.

I'm sure Ronnie has it in his notes somewhere. Whose dyno are you using?

I think an exhaust change is warranted on this thing as well...This truck is way to quiet for a 8.3 litre V-10. On the dyno this truck had no exhaust noise whatsoever. The only noise was the tires on the rollers, the 05 I test drove in Edmonton had a lot more raspiness to it.

You will pick up a little bit of power with an exhaust mod, but you are better off spending some money with Torrie and try to wake that truck up. If it doesn't respond, you may have the same cam issue that I did.

Its stuff like this is why I have the dyno, I have a fleet of modded junk and performance oriented models, and I like to play with them.
I'll probably order a complete system up and test it again just to rule it out. My friend that works at a dodge dealer said that he's seen a few mufflers piling the baffling up and choking the engine on srt10's .
Its got 40k on it on original plugs and wires, I am ordering the Davis Ignition kit for it. I should have pulled the air filter on the dyno, its not exactly fresh.
I got new tires coming for it as well. This truck sat a lot,the BFG KDWS are completely dry rotted, just ordered a set of toyo proxes stII's . If anyone in Alberta needs rubber, they are way cheap at 4wheelparts.com with free shipping to their store.
