Change is in the air.....

The whole cab is now painted and being cleared today. And in a bit of a surprise he tells me he was not happy with the way it was coming out with 3 layers so they are now going to redo everything to put on 5 coats!

This paint POPS! I can not wait for it to be but back together and reveal it.
It's starting to kill me not having her.

I wanted to drive it down the road like that but was told it was a bad idea. Lol.

I'm sure it would have reduced my 1/8th mile time by a good bit.

If you can get it to hook. The last 1 ton chassis cab DRW I drove would spin the tires at will and that Mopar 360" had no where near 500 horsepower. Lol

Here comes the LOW!
A huge thanks to Scott at Venomous1 Racing. He was great to work with and sent these out fast to keep the project on time.
It's going to look sick with this 2/3 drop!

Quote from my body guy "you have the best looking 11 year old frame I have ever seen in NY."

And now that is has been cleaned and touched up it should not rust in my life time!

Doors and Box are back on and the rear is lowered. I also decided to replace all the bulbs in the truck with LED lights and they came in today! The hood, grill, spoiler, tailgate and bumpers should be going into the booth tomorrow.
With any luck the truck *should* be done by next week!

Sneak peek at the project.
The spoiler and a couple other spots are being done in a contrasting color.

Mmmm...flakey

Would definitely look better if you backed the camera up at least 10'
