When i purchased the truck owner told me that it had some kind of radiator put on it that was bigger off another big truck I can't remember what was exactly said but now that it's getting cooler outside the truck is running around like 150ish to 160 compared to being in the very low 200 when it was 100 degrees outside do I need to put a bigger thermostat in? And also my oil pressure on my gauge cluster is always 100 percent pegged out. Saying all this though the truck runs amazingly its quiet and very smooth 60k miles. Thanks guys sorry for blowing up the forums

You probably have a low temp thermostat installed. Put a stock 180 in it.
Your oil pressure gauge has failed. I have one $150 shipped, used

I'm just gonna add a oil pressure to my pod. No sense in changing one guage on the cluster and I'm not gonna deal with getting the PCM to match for a new cluster. Plus mine will be way more accurate then the cluster. Thanks for the info though I wasnt sure what the stock thermostat was supposed to be google and everything always has 30 diffrent answer for these trucks. I've been having to double check everything at my local dealership

Check your sending unit connection and the sending unit itself.
Yes, put the stock thermostat back in. All aluminum engines seem to work better with more heat anyway.

Hi Dan, I have an 05 with under 8000 miles for sale - I can't figure out how to put a classified up on this site, but I didn't know if you may be interested - Glenn --> [email protected]
