Yeah pretty cool. I like the 65 thou plug gap that should burn a bit more of it.Looks like a nice coil/plug-wire setup.
Each combustion chamber is different and may have different results. I know what it did for the 455 Buick motor in the 68 Riviera I used to have. That was amazing, I had to slow the idle down a lot and the exhaust was a lot cleaner smellingThe . 065 gap should provide better fuel economy and has done just that in many combustion chambers
Ah you maybe right there too I think when the Buick 455 first went to an electronic dizzy that was the same problem for them...not enough power tho460 Fords respond the same way to the larger gaps.
I also remember having to reduce the gap on the brand new vehicles that came into the GM Dealership I worked at years ago as the .060 gap recommended by GM was too wide and the vehicles ran rather rough until they were tapped back down to .040.
I pulled the trigger on wires, plugs and coils. I'm going with Mopar performance coils, Live Wire, an NGK. I've seen several folks talking about plug gap. Anywhere from .033 to .065. My local speedshop is recommending .040, is that a good gap? Thoughts please.Okay, I went through some posts and you have a reg cab so I'm guessing stick.
