Yeah, not hand guns tho. There are pistol clubs ( special License) and gangs (unlicensed)
Hunting is big, pigs, deer, Thar, ducks. Pest control wallabies, possums, rabbits, magpies, minors etc
So after an anti Muslim attack in Christchurch by an Aussie our PM had a knee jerk reaction and now semi auto military style weapons are banned and quite a lot of other guns too.
The good citizens have handed them in and the crooks and gangs have not. But apparently ( as the propaganda goes ) we can all sleep a lot better at night knowing we are all a lot safer in our own homes.
Really who writes this stuff??? Oh that's right the socialist media that just love Comrade Jacinda

I remember hearing about the gun attack. So I guess a semi auto is more deadly than a .308? What a joke, it's almost as bad here these days. Xi Biden is talking about a gun tax, and it's insane. Unfortunately I lost my guns in a "boating" accident....
 
Canada spent 2 billion dollars on gun registration. The idea was when/if someone committed a crime using a gun, they could simply look up the serial number on the gun and make the arrest.
Brilliant.
 
New "assault style" gun buy-back announced today. All the bad guys will take the government up on this offer!

I have yet to have a Democrat tell me the definition of "assault weapon", because it doesn't exist. I could identify a broken bottle as an "assault weapon"...:oops:
