... and I just got up
... and I just got up

Dang that sure looks like the acrylic/enamel effect but all priducts claim Enamel - i think? Sure Sucks!!Got he last 2 cans of clear at another walmart and sprayed the dakotas roof and last coat on the doors last night ,, humidity and all ,, damn ,,, roof start to get the milky look again so I strated the truck and put the hearted on full blast in a attempt to stop the milkyness .. seemed to slightly help ,, but in the morning it was milky more ! Well, used scotchbright pad and then wet sanded with 1200 grit to see if it would lesson .. It lessend and then was hopeing the hot sun would pull the moisture out of the clear .. Bingo! The roof is shinning great now !
The doors are a different story ... It did the wrinkle crap agian ( worse than it was previosly ) also got got a couple runs on the passenger side .. I started to scuff the areas with the scotch bright pad and will wait till the paint sets up more to try and fix it or I may have to redo the doors again( I wish I knew why its doing that ??? ).
Now I need more clearcoat for the bed sides, tailgate and rear bumper ..Im debating on painting the mirrors and front windshield cowl and will do the wiper arms ..
I still need to get the flaking old clearcoat removed from the lower doors and bed sides ...Then the buffing in a few weeks or a month lol .. In the mean time I think ill be good to coat the bed liner in .. Weather is going to be to hot and rainy season stinks ..

Only happens with the clear coat...Dang that sure looks like the acrylic/enamel effect but all priducts claim Enamel - i think? Sure Sucks!!
.
That is strange! The run on the passenger side was a heavy spray goof up as i was trying to hurry is was getting to dark to see lol ... but I already saw the wrinkle crap .. happens immediatly and i was intentionally doing a very light coat .. doesnt make sense as to why it happend and on both doors just past the fenders .. the rest of the doors came out fine ...
Yes for sure! So much easierI should have used acylic laquer like in the old days ... and wet sanded between all coats .. laquer is way more forgiving and easier to blend and fix screw ups ..but either way using a real sprayer would have made for a much more proffessional and easir task , less time consuming Job .. I could have done the job in around 3 days with my real tools instead of rattle cans .. stinking HOA asshates ..

Oh boy another birthday!! Happy birthday to you!! Hope your doing well and the house project all finished up!HAPPY BIRTHDAY , Ken @NBT
