I didnt think of looking at the latch ill check that out when i get home. ive been really lazy and havnt had time to pull the doors off lately, i was hoping it was an easier fix and there was going to be a switch in the hinge, no such luck so far.

i do have an oily residue on the bottom of the trans, if it is the salve can i have just that replaced or do i have to do the whole system? Is it even worth me bleeding the system?

also is it supposed to be basic DOT4 brake fluid in the clutch?
