How many of you guys have gotten wheels through the mail - are they pretty well protected in their packaging? UPS can be pretty brutal sometimes. I'd like to order on or two of these, just don't want to get them and they be damaged. Any thoughts?

I've decided not to go with the X-metal Catless Mids I purchased about 2 months ago. Don't want the truck too loud. These are new, never installed and have the mechanical O2 sims with two bungs in each pipe. Will sell for $275 plus shipping from Georgia. PM if interested.

If you don't want to wait for it to clear, disconnect the battery for 30 seconds and that will clear the code. If it's a true problem, the code will come back.

Thanks for the info, that was a really good description. You don't suppose you pissed the dude off the night you left your truck that he deliberately put something in your muffler, do you? That would really suck. I can't imagine anything breaking loose in the magnaflow during the install...

Well, I wasn't really thrilled with the place myself. It was hard to get in and out of the bay with the dyno - lots of clutter in the shop and in the parking lot. Place was just a mess. I may try them again to keep consistency in the pulls, but then again maybe not. I'll have to check the...

I found out that it is a Dynojet.

I don't know who the manufacturer of the dyno is. The first pull was he best and there was no cool down between runs. The A/F was not measured. As far as the test conditions go - Temp 60 degrees, humidity 20%, barometric pressure 29.56. But all that really shouldn't matter since the numbers...

Well, the results are in and they're not very good. 412 RWHP and 438 RWTQ (SAE). The pulls were done in 4th gear and I only did 3 pulls. I will change the PCM and thermostat and give it another go in a week or so. Any ideas on why so low:dontknow: Also, they would not connect to a spark...

I was thinking the same thing right after I posted. Might better to drive the vehicle a while after the PCM and stat are installed, then do the pulls. There's no break in price for 6 pulls versus 3 (it's $53 for 3 pulls). Maybe I'll wait.

I'm going to put the beast on a dyno tomorrow. I'll post the results. I'll be dynoing with the mods listed. I also have Boomer's Stage II flash and 170 degree thermostat, but have not installed either yet. My thought is to do three pulls on the dyno, change out the PCM and do three more...
