Alberta (where I live) has been sort of trying to separate from Canada for a while now. There was talk of Trump grabbing Canada a while ago, as well.
Who knows???
Dodge used a coil pack from a 4 cyl minivan and one from a 6 cyl minivan.
Yes, 3 and 8 are on the same (6 cyl) coil pack.
Hopefully, it wasn't sludge burning off from inside the 8.3 ;)
Maybe borrow a 6-71 (although a bit undersized) off one of those locos for your Striker Build. That could be...
IF YOU HAVE TO drive the truck, take the rad cap off (unless the weather temperature is too hot on the drive home). That way, it will take nearly 15 p.s.i. off of the entire cooling system and at least reduce (or if you're lucky, eliminate) any leaks from a crack, or whatever is causing it...
I do believe the exhaust smoke when hot at idle is disappearing. In about another 1000 miles I will change from 10w40 mineral on to 5w30 Synthetic. See how that goes.
Mineral oil loses viscosity pretty fast with engine heat and it can and will smoke. I never did leave it in very long if/when I...
I never did use break-in oil but my engine had LOW-tension rings, a mild crosshatch (borderline shiny) with a steepish 50 degree included angle. It also has coated skirts so if there was some rockin' under load, it shouldn't damage the walls (at all).
So, primarily because of the rings and...

$2.45 per liter x 4.546 to convert to gallons, and the magic number becomes $11.13 per gallon for diesel.
I think we may have gone off topic and the only advice I can give is DON'T CUT THE BLUE WIRE!!
With Diesel (the least refined/highest profit consumer fuel) at $9.33/gallon, we can look forward to higher shipping costs (and prices) for food, goods and pretty much everything else. Because of course, trucks and trains run on it.
What a deal!!!
After a significant overheating episode, white smoke out of the tailpipe (particularly if it smells a bit sweet) is evidence that coolant has found its way into the exhaust system.
Coloured porcelain (antifreeze) may also be noticed on spark plugs and will likely be in the cylinders that had...
