    Rotor Help

You guys have been verry helpful in helping me out with stupid little problems. Well, here is my latest. I bought some nice drilled and slotted rotors and I want to put them on, but the old ones won't budge. I took off the clips that were on the studs to keep it in place and the damn thing still...

    Loose Hose

:dontknow: I'm walking up to my truck today, and see a hose hanging from the drivers side of the truck directly below the rear axle. I imeadiately thought that it was a break line, but when I crawled under it to check it out I found that was not the case. I have no idea where this line goes...

    new mod....train horn (pics)

That would be a great thing to have! I would use it every time I get pulled over. Once the bastard handed me the ticket and walked back to his car I would give it a little toot, just to see if I could make him piss his pants.

Indexed Plugs -- Leaking Exhaust Manifold Gasket

I just did this, and it's a huge pain in the ass unless your hands are the size of an 8 year old. The drivers side is harder to get to than the passanger side. After you get all of the bolts out, you'll want to disconect the sparkplug wires and unbolt the header from the pipe. That will allow...

Thanks for the info, I'll check into it.

    PCM Reset???

As a matter of fact it does, it runs like a horse with a broken leg at 1700 rpm. I just figured it was because of the new cam. Where is this sensor located, and is it a do it yourself job? The truck has almost 60,000 miles on it so warranty is out of the question.

    PCM Reset???

I have my PCM flashed, does it reset after you disconect the battery? The reason I ask, after I disconected the battery the truck wants to idol at 1200 rpm. I thought it might have to find itself and then it would be normal again, but that's not the case. It's been three weeks now and it's still...

    Lowered Shocks

The engine is running strong. Not a single problem (nock on wood). It has been a while since I've been on the site. I'm just waiting for winter to be over. You know how that goes..... Wait a minute maybe you don't :D I hope everyone is doing well.

    Lowered Shocks

My truck is lowered 1" in the front and 2" in the back. The Bilstienes are definately worn out. What shocks are you guys using, and where can I get them. I have an order in for some Belltech Nitro-Actives but they have been on back order for a month and a half now, and I'm getting tired of the...

road/street/drag racing list of future mods

That was me. However it wasn't due to oil starvation. I had an issue with the vec 2 leaning it out and we all know what happens to #3 when that happens. Anyway, I do have boomers lowering kit on my truck and road raced both with and without it. I can say that it makes a HUGE difference...

Who has the most miles on your Truck ?

46,000 + on mine. It is the 3rd engine though, so if I keep starting over when I put a new one in, I only have about 18,000 on it right now.:p

    Caliper Question

Looks like both the sickness, and VPRPWR are both right. The front calipers are held on by 18mm bolts, while the rear are held on by 13/16". Now if that's not the stupidist thing I've seen. :dontknow:

    Caliper Question

I was thinking about that too:p
  20. jimmyg79

    Caliper Question

Alrighty, the sickness was correct. An 18mm socket is required to take off the calipers on a 04.
