Why have some nice clean brakes to install and not have some nice clean knuckles to hold them on with? That was a shit load of brushing and using sandpaper to get these things cleaned.
I was able to go pick up my calipers and brackets yesterday and they look absolutely amazing, especially in person. I am still waiting on the slotted and dimpled rotors to show up along with the rear pads. I will be installing the JTSVP stainless brake lines today. Here are a few cool pics i...
No i didnt have to remove anything since hydrodip doesnt go through any kind of a heat treatment. The only thing that had to be done was to seal the in coming brake fluid hole on the caliper which that was easily solved by sticking a bolt in the hole.
Just doing some touch up painting or going with a different color? I will for sure post pics up of the completed project on the truck and also updates on how it holds up. Feel free to steal it if you want cause i honestly things its gonna be a sweet visual upgrade. [emoji2]

I think i am just going to go with poly bushings so that way i can just burn the old ones out. Sounds like not only would it be a hell of alot easier but will be installing a better and longer lasting bushing than the stock rubber bushings. Screw all that beating and banging...let the fire do...

Hahahahah mr. Funny guy i see. Remember that next time you ask for some help cause im gonna tell you that its way over my head. Lol how hard are we taking? Can they be burned out and somewhat pushed back in?
Well the guy is on a tight budget and only reason he is having it done is cause he tried to get an alignment and they couldnt align it because of the drivers front side bushings. I mean i will try to tell him its worth getting done but just wondering how hard it is to swap them out
I have a 2005 ram 1500 for a guy at my work that is wanting me to replace his control arm bushings and tie rod end bushing on drivers front side. Can anyone tell me how hard it is to replace those bushings and about how long its going to take me to do the job
Sorry for not being on here in so long and life here the past week or so has been absolutely crazy but i had listed the truck at a price to quick sell it and since that never did happen i am to a point now where i am temporarily postponing the sale. This is my dream truck and i never did want to...
