Purchased a pair of 17" wheels to use for drag racing...they had a 390/40 R17 on them. Any input on tire brand, size, D.R. or slick input would be most appreciated!

I appreciate the tips! And of course above all else, I do simply for the adrenaline rush and the fun in it all. I didn't mess with my tire pressure since I've got mine nitrogen filled, don't really wanna waste that money away. But I am thinking about keeping a better eye out for a set of drag...

If I launched anything over 1500, it blew the tires off. Shifting was right around 5800 - 6000

I've still got them, but still in the works for something else. I like them, but as mentioned earlier, they really do give off just an R/T vibe, and that's certainly not what these trucks are!

Its hard to believe that March 1st will be 2 years I've owned my truck. A lot has changed since then and it has been sooo much fun! The night she arrived, my adrenaline was pumping so hard I couldn't hold the camera still! The next day...after nerves were calmed down a bit...
