    Gibson Headers

I installed mine not for the power gain but the noise. I being kinda deaf like to hear the roar. Scott says the Snake bite is great and I will admit it turns heads but on the open highways of West Texas I like to open the cut-outs, turn up the Eagles or Bob Segar and let er rip. More for...

    Gibson Headers

I have the cutouts and they MUST be as far back as possible. Otherwise they will sound like a UPS truck. Mine are really neat for passing a women in the left lane texting at 40 mph in a 70 zone.

    what has happened????

I sell real estate for a living and the state changes the rules seemingly every week. We adapt. We "old" folks grew up with the phrase by Jimmy Ling "if it ain't broke don't fix it." Seems form a technical stand point the old system was indeed broken, then it needed fixing. Not sure the...

My TPS went out---replaced with one from O'Reilly. It went bad within a month and they gladly replaced. One month later I replaced it yet again, yesterday. Not a good track record.

    Speedometer is Off

No, my dad, a lawyer, did some work for the Chrysler dealer (Desota) so bought cars from him. The station wagon (forerunner of the minivans) had been intended to go to Europe. Man It would run, especially for a kid of 14----yeah, in Texas we got our drivers license at 14 which turned out to...

    Speedometer is Off

I once owned a '58 Desota---(you youngsters need to Google it) that read 220 on the speedo-----kilometers instead of miles. Great fun to show the guys I could run 150 with no problem. Then----dad had it change to the correct speedometer.

    code 123

Ronnie, thanks for all the help-----my BAD. The TPS i installed last month-----I did not get it as tight as I should have, it was sucking air. Installed the new one, reset by touching the battery cables and man----all is well. This is the reason 72 year olds need a good mechanic...

    code 123

Ronnie, did not work. Same code 123 and coughing worse than ever. How likely is the TPS bad after only a month and 2,000 miles? It came from O'Reilly and usually their stuff is fine. A lemon maybe? Could it be anything else?

    code 123

    Thanks so much----will do shortly.

    code 123

Know it is the TPS but that I just replaced. Acting crazy on the highway----smooth then down shifts, then back to normal. In neutral hit the gas and back to idle very slow. Worked fine after the TPS for a couple of weeks now this. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Most likely discussed a million times

but am wondering the approximate cost of building my engine. Forged all that needs forging, cam, heads reworked and anything else it takes to run in the 700 HP range (if that is possible). Rather same the meth for the driver but remember this is gonna be a daily driver again, it that is...
