Having just lost Spike on Monday of this week I can tell you I would give anything to have more time with him before he died......do what you can to help your dog survive.....I wish I could have been able to make a decision like that that for Spike.

My friend who bought his truck when I got mine has 71K on his truck with no issues except his tranny is leaking some and slipping a little.....the motor is still as strong as ever.....I get to ride in it once a week when we go to the gun club.....he loves the truck.

It was so strange to come home and not have Spike to meet me at the door...:(:(.....I miss him he was the best dog.....we shared so much time together......I know it will get better but right now this hurts........I wish he was here........I miss him.

Thanks for all the kind words.....that dog was truly part of our family and he will be missed by all those who knew him.....I am just sick about this....he was fine yesterday and this AM he dies....we think he aspirated some fluid into his lungs......my poor wife is a wreck.....Spike was her 1st...

My wife Vickie is into English Bulldogs and she like to show them at various dog shows....I bought her our 1st Bulldog his name is Spike....He has been the best dog I have ever owned he was our 1st to become a champion...Spike was defiantly Vickie's dog he followed her everywhere she would...

Sorry to hear Jake...as a pet owner our pets become family the attachment cannot be explained until have a pet that becomes part of your everyday life....it is a beautiful thing.....tomorrow will be a tough day.
