The tires and wheels are a single unit. The rim is not steel but a polimer/ plastic intigrated into the tire to soften the suspension... No need to mount the tire. :dontknow:

The cost and control were the main reasons I was looking at mixing my own. That and the fact that I'm kind of known as an eccentric nerd around here. :dontknow:
However It looks as though the prices aren't worth the trouble.
I really only want to bump the 93 octane up a couple to maybe 95-98...
Does anyone here mix their own race fuel? :dontknow:
So far, it appears to me, paying retail at the track is cheaper than mixing my own...

It makes sence. But the higher octane with my present (93) tune does make it run smoother with less backfire/gurgle. :dontknow:

If you are talking about health, I am familiar with the carcinogens involved. Toulene was used while I was in the Airforce. It, among other chemicals, has been blamed for alot of issues including lung cancer. :(
