    Name That Part....

Hey Ronnie, I have another question for you. Should the engine harness be attached to the underside of the intake? (As opposed to laying on top of the coils). Thanks

    Name That Part....

Anybody know what this plug is for? I'm guessing it's for oil Temperature. I know the one just to the right is oil pressure, and that's where the oil cooler lines go.

This is why you should run a Catch Can.

I was cleaning my intake in preparation for painting and this is what I found. The inside of the intake was pretty dirty with baked on oil, and this is what the injectors looked like (before and after cleaning). Keep in mind my motor only has 30k miles on it.

    RX Monster Catch Can

I know this is an old thread, but I'm researching a crankcase ventilation system for my truck. Just wondering if this RX system is still the way to go, or are there other options. Iv'e been looking at the Mighty Mouse system, seams like a good one.

HELP! Engine won't rotate 360 degrees

Well, not quite. $260 for head gaskets , another $65 for new bolts, $45 for base pan gasket, $140 for new "Correct" sensor. But, in the grand scheme of things, I'm not complaining, could have been much worse.

It was the F-ING sensor! Pulled it and she spins over like a charm. Thank you guy's so much for the help, I really appreciate it.

HELP! Engine won't rotate 360 degrees

I'm going to pull the sensor tonight. The strange part is that the sensor is the same one that came in the motor when I purchased it, (supposedly running). It's solid gray molded plastic.

Rod Bolts, Does the V10 come wit ARP's?

Yes, they were black multi layer (about 4). So those were OEM? That's good to know. I was going to replace them with Fel-Pro, they OK?

Rod Bolts, Does the V10 come wit ARP's?

Just wondering if these motors come from the factory with ARP's? Mine has ARP 2000s in it. I know someone has been inside this engine before me, because it had Cometic head gaskets on it.

HELP! Engine won't rotate 360 degrees

I bought a rolling chassis several years ago to use for my build of a 67 Dodge D100 pickup. It was supposed to be a good running motor with 31K on it. They even sent me compression test numbers, and a video of the (an) engine running. It's been in my shop taped up and used for mockup for my...

HELP! Engine won't rotate 360 degrees

No, I removed the trans, and no change. Right now it's only the long block, no heads, no oil pan.

HELP! Engine won't rotate 360 degrees

Just getting ready to install my engine & trans for good, and while installing the converter bolts, I noticed the engine rotates ( by hand ) about 340 degrees then stops. I hits something hard. I can go backwards the same amount, and it hits again. I removed the trans, and the heads, and the oil...
