i was wondering i wanna take off at least two of the cats or maybe all 4.what would be better and if i take off just 2 will i still pass emissions and will it make the truck sound better
Prof said:A lot depends on what you want...what kind of emissions tests are conducted in your state, and what your individual taste is.
There are ways around the OBDII emissions check. If there is a sniff test you have a tougher time.
Aside from the emissions issues...if you want maximum power both need to go. You need to go to headers, three inch mid pipes and a muffler to suit your ear.
First check what kind of emissions test you have in Wisconsin...then we can go from there in helping you.

I think it may throw a code for no O2 sensors in the rear on the OBDII prong, not sure....
Prof said:If you delete the rear two cats, and use sims on your sensors the sniff test should be cool, the OBDII test will pass since you are not throwing a code....
