2005 Dodge Ram SRT-10 Regular Cab
3 owner truck… I have owned it since Sept 2010 at 6900 miles
Clear title
32,450 miles
Reason for selling: I need a backseat / SUV
Modifications:
MOPAR Gen 4 heads/intake upgrade (600hp flywheel… dyno’d at 512 rwhp)
Braided oil cooler and power steering cooler lines
Belanger ceramic coated full length headers with 3” hi-flow cat mid pipe
Billy Boat stainless cat-back exhaust
Centerforce Clutch
B&M short throw shifter
Professionally tuned for modifications… this truck starts and runs like a stock truck until you hammer the gas in the upper rpms
Never raced at the track, has only been driven on the street since my ownership
Custom stereo: removable subwoofer speaker box (covered in faux leather…matches interior of truck perfectly) with JL 12” subs, Focal 6” speakers in doors + tweeters mounted higher in door panels, Kenwood Double DIN Nav with Bluetooth, iPod connection
Bedrug bedliner
Aluminum tonneau cover with OEM spoiler mounted on rear
Lowered 2/3 on springs/blocks...was done by previous owner
Texas-legal window tint (30% or so)
Detailed maintenance history, since I took ownership:
3/16/11 Oil/filter change, coolant flush, brake fluid flush/bleed 9190 miles
7/15/11 Oil/filter change 12581
11/18/11 Oil/filter change 14436
3/1/12 Oil/filter change, Gen 4 upgrade, new Centerforce clutch ` 16,005
8/24/12 Oil/filter change 18,989
9/6/13 Oil/filter change 21,850
2/21/14 Oil/filter change 22,986
4/28/14 Front brakes: new rotos/pads/flush +front end alignment 23,875
7/26/14 Oil/filter change 24,788
12/13/14 Oil/filter change 26,269
7/3/15 Oil/filter change 28,785
3/31/16 Oil/filter change 31,375
8/17/16 New tires (Yokohama Parada) 32,326
Truck runs and drives great. I have an excellent local reputation among car enthusiasts, and would never sell something that needed work, or with issues that I would not disclose. As you can see from the dyno, the engine modifications added roughly 70rwhp in the upper rpms…if you want more low-end TQ, then an aftermarket cam would do that and add some additional top-end power. I’m happy with how it runs now, as it is completely sorted. I'm a smaller built guy (5'7"/160), so minimal wear on driver's seat bottom. I would rate the interior at 9.5 of 10, and exterior 9 of 10 (paint shines, no oxidation at all), polished wheels 9.5 of 10 (one has a couple of hairline scratches, but none have curb rash).
Known issues:
Small 1” scratch through clearcoat on rear spoiler (picture attached)
3 tiny hail dings from spring ’16 storm I got caught in… PDR pros say $200 to remove, but everyone is swamped, so I cannot even get it in. they do not show up on camera, but I will absolutely point them out to a prospective buyer if I don’t have them removed before sale.
Reverse gear sometimes difficult to get into…doesn’t grind, just gets blocked out at times and takes a little finesse
Asking $27k
