I've been talking about this with friends away from the forum lately and wanted to bring the talk here.

individual or household?

I remember when my household used to make 6 figures.....

Exactly as much as God allocates. Just enough to take care of our needs but not so much as to get too worldly. If ya know what I mean.

not to bad, just not as good as it used to be

Ha, ha, just wait till your over the hill. :D

Why I'm planning on preventing that today. My new gig may not be traditional (or criminal), but it's fun and healthy and has potential.

I won't make it much longer at my 9-5. Sick and tired of listening to people cry

So far it's save save save. But Im a service Tec for pulling units/rigs hooking up blow out preventers and the company I work for has the big contract with chevron so I hope that keeps up float for a while I'm praying.

I'd say that right there is smart.

For being a night school grad, I did better this year then I probably will for the rest of my life. I was very blessed in 2014, and hope to make half of my 2014 salary in 2015. I saved a ton of money aside, paid a lot of debt off, and built my credit up into the high 700's again.

A praying man is a good man. Raised in Odessa since 1948, left after the oil crash in 1984 and back with some rent trailer in Midland. Holding out is the key as if will come back. Always will but when is anyone's guess. Keep praying.
