51' International SRT-10

Well after about three months of not touching my project I have finally started work again.
I have trial fitted the SRT steering column and brake servo in to the International and will fabricate parts of the SRT firewall to the Internationals firewall so everything mounts correctly.
I have also deleted loads of the wiring loom that I don't need and gone for a first start up just to check everything I want still works.
It started up really quick and got good oil pressure.
I will add some pics.

Check out the mileage !

Once again I am back working on my truck.
I have all the body mounts on and have altered the front frame rails so the grille now bolts up.
I now need to set the height of the suspension, any thoughts on the 3" djm lower control arms ? or is there a better system. As for the rear I guess an axle flip kit will be in order.
As for the wheels I would like to go narrow on the front and wider on the rear, I am running the 20" steel spares not sure if you can get any smaller wheels over the brakes.
Anyway I will get some updated pics posted asap.

if 16s work by grinding the calipers and some 17s work WITHOUT grinding the calipers for the rear then they should work for the front too.

or are you just wanting skinny width and still larger 20+ rims??

freaking awesome by the way, wish i was rich enough to do something like this, i say rich cause i know the skill level isn't ever gonna be there to do it myself like you are

have you seen the thread by Scott, Venomous1, for the 20 X 13 rims that can hold a 15 inch wide tire??

Not true unless your front and rear brakes are the same size. I know mine aren't :D

i meant to put a ?? at the end of that, couldn't remember what the front and rear calipers looked like. truck has been at the painter for 6 business days now, and i'm having withdrawals

there are places that will make custom wheels per your specs but they do get expensive

Front rotors are 1" larger with even Leger brake calipers. Even with 22s there's not much room for a hand to clean the inner area around calipers on rim.

Quick update.
After much measuring and tire searching I have finally had my SRT front steel wheels banded to a more suitable width and offset.
I had the face of the wheel moved out by 1 3/4" and had the width reduced from 8" to 6".
I got them painted and and fitted with 195/50/20 Bridgestone S001 tires.
Check out the pics.
