About To Buy Exhaust System.....Opinions/Help Needed

i've been down this road a few times...... B&B is the best sounding exhaust, imho...... i originally wanted it because it was the only flanged exhaust system that was available & i wanted the ability to swap mids for deq needs..... with the headers & flanges, i'd have shorter mids for easier installs......
well, some where along the deal, B&B swiched to the slip joint clamp like the rest & i had a good muffler shop weld in flanges for me....... go with 3 bolt collector flanges if you decide to go this route, i haven't had any leak issues so far.....
and yes, B&B makes a separate catback system (i can get you the part number if you need it), but if you're going to spend the big bucks -- go for the whole thang !!! and definitely go catless -- the best HP mod out there......
not sure if you're aware, but go thru roe or one of our other vendor's here for the B&B....... it's cheaper than direct...... here's a bunch 'o links below:

Great input, thanks mate. ;) I called Billy Boat and got the part number myself, prior to seeing this post. The part # I want is FTRU-0438. They want $1,408 for that system so I will definitely check out other suppliers, hopefully one that can take international credit cards as B&B don't. Still, not 100% sure on the cats, leave 'em or not, still not 100% sure but I am definitely going with B&Bs!

I have the Borla cat-back on my RC and love the way it sounds...it is much deeper than most people think....it sounds nothing like the sound clips i've heard. Some of the guys at the NE GTG at Camelback a few months back will agree. And after having it on for about 3 months it seems to have gotten deeper:dontknow: It does not sound like a UPS truck at alllllll:p

Ahhhhh......good choice. I have no regret's with my B&B system. The sound is very deep. Even when you get on it  Cool thing is if you want no cats or cats later on it is an easy swap, if you got the cash :D

Thanks mate, ahhhh, I doubt I'll have the cash but at least I know it can be done later! LOL

You get what you pay for!!!! I have b/b and absoloutely love it , dont worry about the flanges, mine are slip joint and no cats, with no leaks. THE SOUND AND PERFORMANCE IS WITH EVERY DIME!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have had the:

Borla
Flowmaster
B&B
and now Chambered

if I could do it all over again....for a relatively stock truck.....

Midpipes and the Magnaflow....

the B&B was nice but for the $$ it should be able to handle the rwhp....and it can't....

Mike sorta melted the sumbitch running the Supertank down the strip!!!!!:burnout: Meaning BB's stuff cant handle the big power ie....NOS etc..... that 10 to 11 second club!!!!

If you wanna save some cash, just order the muffler ( my preference Magnaflow) and have a good pipe shop cut it in and fab up some catless midpipes, cause shipping is going to F-ing kill ya!!!
