Advice on traveling Europe

let me know if you want to go there , so i can call my buddy and if you need a car for day he can give you one of his cars if is he home .

And you stay safe overthere when you go over seas ...

That's outstanding... thanks a lot:rock:

Try to meet some locals in Germany, have them take you out in the night life. I spent a few nights in Munich and I have never had so much fun in my life. They took us to clubs that were virtually underground and we were there until we had to catch our tour bus the next morning.

Good stuff. I've got friends stationed there, so hopefully they'll have the hook up:)

Get a euro rail pass, trains go everywhere you can sleep if you want to and they have a bar car if you don't,
If your gonna rent a car get something small and diesel, cheaper and remember you have to find the nonexistent parking in the cities.
Amsterdam is a great start, don't stay too long or you'll never leave.
Have a plan stay a few days in each place always leave on a high note,
Germany is great now, France is fun better in the smaller towns, Spain is fantastic (Barcelona),
Italy is wonderful great food amazing sites.
Prague in the Cech republic is wicked good and has delicious cheap beer and gorgeous gals.
Have a great time!

I'm not sure what you like or would like to do but some of my favorite European destinations I've visited include Munich and Berlin, Germany; Brussels, Belgium; Dublin, Ireland; Budapest, Hungary; Vienna, Austria; Venice, Italy, and Reykjavik, Iceland. All are very nice and relatively safe. However, these cities and most of Europe is pricey. Especially if you factor in our beloved US Dollar to Euro exchange rate -- it isn't that great.

Attached is a State Department travel link that provides advice on travel and what to do if you need assistance abroad. One piece of advice I do have is make sure your passport has at least six months of validity remaining before you begin travel. Most countries and passport control officials prefer to see this.

Here's a link for Eurorail.

This would be your cheapest travel mode between destinations. Flying will be pricey. Once you reach your destination try and find a good city map and information on local public transport. Taxi use can be costly.

Have fun. :D

15 day rail pass, 1st class for $729... not bad.

Spain is awesome. I'd check it out if you can make it that far in time. Lots of good food.
