Try to meet some locals in Germany, have them take you out in the night life. I spent a few nights in Munich and I have never had so much fun in my life. They took us to clubs that were virtually underground and we were there until we had to catch our tour bus the next morning.
Hey im born in Montenegro . If you want to go there i can let some of my friends know and get you maybe place to stay . If you want i can send you pics .
I'm not sure what you like or would like to do but some of my favorite European destinations I've visited include Munich and Berlin, Germany; Brussels, Belgium; Dublin, Ireland; Budapest, Hungary; Vienna, Austria; Venice, Italy, and Reykjavik, Iceland. All are very nice and relatively safe. However, these cities and most of Europe is pricey. Especially if you factor in our beloved US Dollar to Euro exchange rate -- it isn't that great.
Attached is a State Department travel link that provides advice on travel and what to do if you need assistance abroad. One piece of advice I do have is make sure your passport has at least six months of validity remaining before you begin travel. Most countries and passport control officials prefer to see this.

Here's a link for Eurorail.

This would be your cheapest travel mode between destinations. Flying will be pricey. Once you reach your destination try and find a good city map and information on local public transport. Taxi use can be costly.
Have fun.
Spain is awesome. I'd check it out if you can make it that far in time. Lots of good food.
