Airaid Premium Filters use the finest materials available, making them the most efficient and durable filters on the market today. Contributing to the durability of Airaid Premium Filters are a hand poured urethane body that will not crack, shrink or curl like other manufacturers rubber or plastisol units. Airaid’s Premium Filter is a 100% washable and reusable cotton gauze filter made with Airaid’s SynthaFlow Technology. SynthaFlow Technology utilizes multiple layers of cotton gauze combined with Airaid’s SynthaFlow fiber layer, assuring the best filtration and cleanest air possible from any washable filter on the market.

That is a good alternative to the CAI`s that may or may not make power.I`d say go for this one if you are considering getting more air in.

Airaid makes a great product. Airaid's Filter uses Deaper pleats and more layers than a standard K&N filter, which will result in better and cleaner airflow.

Airaid Stands behind their product 100% and offers a Lifetime Warranty.

Any other questions, please let me know.

Thanks,
David

So can we expect the same results of using an aftermarket filter (Better exhaust sound & more power)? Thanks.

RedRamRules - The Advantage of the Airaid Premium Filter is that it will flow more air than your stock paper filter, and it is washable and reusable and will last the life of the vehicle. If you purchase the Airaid premium filter you will never need to buy another replacment filter.

Thanks,
David

SRT10Venomous - The Airaid is just like the K&N drop in filter, but it's a better quality filter. The Airaid Filter uses thicker pleats and more layers than K&N does, so it will flow a great amount of air, keep all the debris out, and it will last the life of the vehicle.

As far as performance gains, well its a drop in filter, so there wont be a huge performance gain, but you wont ever have to buy another filter ever again.

Here is a link, it has great information about Airaid Premium Filters - http://www.airaid.com/see.asp

Thanks,
David

Several people at the ROE GTG saw 6 HP and 7 TQ peak increase on a S&B High Flow drop-in Air Filter on a stock 2005 QC (plus gains throughout the rpm bands). So I imagine it would be similar in gains. Dollar for dollar, can't beat the HP/buck increase. A HP per 10 dollars with a drop-in! So with a 7000 dollar Supercharger you should get 700 HP increase in comparison, right?!

Bone - I would assume the Airaid results will be pretty much the same as the S&B filter. The 6 HP & 7 TQ is a great increase for a drop in filter.

I am just dont think that 6hp will be very noticable on a 500HP truck.

So for a slight increase in power and a filter you will never have to change again, the Airaid is a great choice.

Thanks,
David

*Update*

Talk about fast shipping. The filter was here on Friday after ordering it on Thursday. I just finished installing it now, and I can say that this was worth the money. I notice more low end exhaust note. Performance is pretty much the same, just hope gas milage goes up too. I can't say how much of a pleasure its been to have purchased the filter from you David. I highly recommend Premier Truck for your purchases!

RedRamRules / Juan - I am glad you received it so fast and are happy with the product.

We have plenty more Airaid's in Stock if any other Members are interested.

Thanks,
David
