Another 1300hp twin turbo RC

Nicer than Dom's IMO. This truck still looks like an SRT-10, not a gutted shell

Doms is a racetruck now (and still drive 400 miles in one day after running a 9.09 pass)....but if you want to get picky every body panel is stock and the frame is stock the only thing different is the interior.. ...whats your truck run?? thats what i thought.

Also you havent been around long enough to realize that doms truck started out as a badass street truck with an even better looking install than this twin turbo truck, then it evolved....maybe you shouldn't speak about things you know nothing about

Both trucks are nice!!! Wish this truck would be on the cover of trucking. Id frame that issue:)

I like this truck! I think they did a great job on the tyre size and keeping it stock appearing in most aspects. :) It still looks tough with 20" and that meat at the back looks like they did all they could to get traction without going overboard. Still, even with that meat, it's just a smoke show. All the throttle feathering in the world won't help. A truck with half that hp will kill it on the street so it's all bragging rights, nothing more, nothing less. Be fun for getting the rear end loose at 100mph and doing meaty skids but apart from that, it's limited. In this hobby, if you want fast, you're nothing if you can't walk the torque. ;)

In regards to Dom, his truck is now a full on race truck and he had to do what he did to try and get all that power to the ground, it wasn't a want, but a must. Be good to see what that machine can do once it finally hooks up if they can get it dialed in. With that hp and traction sorted, on paper, it's a 7 second truck. This truck in this post was built as a street (not race) truck so comparing the two is apples to oranges.

If you think brakes and tires are the only difference between this and Dom's, you are wrong. Dom's is the real deal. The truck shown in the article, while a very nice truck, is a dyno queen. Nothing wrong with that, just different strokes for different folks.

Yes there are a number of differences and I agree that Dom's truck is the real deal and has track numbers to prove it, but that's not my point. Mechanically I believe Dom's truck is beautiful, but apperance-wise I think it's awful and looks like a drag truck. My point with the truck in this article is that it boasts 800-1300whp (depending on what tune/gas he is using) and still looks like a stock SRT-10 and still has full interior, everything. If I had the money and capability to make my truck one way or the other I'd choose to have the power and still leave it looking like a SRT-10 rather than a gutted shell.

Regardless of what it used to be, what it is now is a great truck mechanically speaking, but like I said, I think it's ugly in terms of its appearance and that's all I meant. I'm not disputing how well built Dom's truck is. I've read all the posts in the JMB section and followed it since I joined this site and when Dom was still on here. I love that Dom's truck has track numbers to back up his power. I just think it looks ugly. Don't missunderstand what I'm trying to say.

Guess that's where we differ, I love the way both trucks look, doms to me is just more functionable. My dream truck would be somewhere between the 2, keep the interior and ac but ditch the 6 speed and other non essentials to get the weight down.

I'd like to keep the 6 speed but ditch everything else with the end result being a semi streetable 10 second truck.

Yes there are a number of differences and I agree that Dom's truck is the real deal and has track numbers to prove it, but I would never be able to handle all that power. I believe Dom is beautiful, but I heard he is married, so I don't have a chance. Appearance-wise I think he's incredible. His truck is awesome because it looks and drives like a drag truck. My point with the truck in this article is that it boasts 800-1300whp (depending on what tune/gas he is using) and still looks like a slow, stock SRT-10 and still has full interior, everything. If I had the money and capability to be as awesome as Dom, I'd choose not too because slow trucks just do more for me.

Too much info there, buddy. As I said earlier, each to their own... :D
