There are not enough details to know exactly what happened but the original lien holder may be SOL. I had same situation except I was the buyer. Paid the dealer for the truck which was out of his personal collection but he sold it through his dealership. He took my $$ and never paid the lien holder. Tied up the title for over a year but I never had to return the truck. State police where involved and because he was a dealership he was held liable to the lien holder and they couldn't touch the truck. His business went belly up and at one point he served me with bankrupcy court papers. I thought it was rediculous because he didn't owe me anything but a title.

Weird what's with the Camrose address on that Kijji ad? Also one of the contact numbers look likes a Camrose number. And I can't say for sure but that one pic does look familiar. I may have met the owner and that truck last summer. Interesting.

I wonder what happens to the owner now. He has put $ into the truck, paid payments. He cant just lose all that equity.

That was when I bought mine. Good thing mine is red, has chrome rims but only 30000km.
