I plan on buying these with the next month.

Has anyone installed these and if so was it hard to do, I wanted to know the best way to remove the factory manifolds and install these. And did anyone notice power gains. thanks

be sure to disconnect the battery

and you may have to cut the oem bolts that connect the manifolds to the mids

remove plugs wires

other than that its an easy deal

Is there a easy way to remove the factory bolts out of the manifolds, someone told me to drive around for a little while to heat the motor up a bit.

Overall pretty easy install, passenger side was a breeze. Remove the inner fender panel and just unbolt and bolt back up. The drivers side is a little harder but we did it with the inner fender panel in place. The 3 bolts on each factory header flange will be a bitch. Use the MoPar exhaust gaskets and watch when you place then they are easy to install backwards and your end bolt holes are covered. (Oh yeah, I paid someone to do mine but I did watch)

I love 'em, I think you will feel a seat of the pants difference plus they sound better and look KILLER.

the ones that mount the manifold to the head will come out pretty easy, you really dont want to work on a hot manifold buddy, they will ease out

bu the ones that go from the manifold to the mids are just a bitch, usually they rust, best thing is to wd or something them the night before , let them soak, but most of the time its easiest and quickest to jsut cuttem off and install new stainless bolts

The flange bolts will be the toughest part of your install. The inside bolt on both sides are the worst. Removing the starter helped with access on the driver's side.

when disconnecting to the mids use a dremmel or torch to cut the bottom two bolts on each side (connecting mids to manifold) dont even bother playing with them. cutting those will save you over an hr of frustrations. for the top two. just start turning anything until you get a wrench on the bolt/metal clip. use a 17mm. it will fit over both. if you start getting anxious and turning the bolts before you put the wrench on it will jack up the metal clip and youll never get a wrench on it. I just installed JMB mids this weekend so its fresh in my head. the passanger side is pretty easy to get the the top bolt. the starter is in the way a bit on the drivers side but it can be done. Go get you some new bolts for the flange connection dont try to use the stock ones.

Ok sounds good, I have mid pipes now and yes we did cut factory bolts and did install SS bolts.

Sounds like it will be a decent install to do, Also to these run a little bit cooler under the hood.?

eh the coating on bissanis is so so , but will drop the temps a little,

LOL but dont forget to undo the battery cable, if you do , you will only od it once! the gaskets will fall head first on the starter and cause fourth of july

Only use OEM gaskets and none other...no mix....dont do it....you also need to wrap your starter with heat shield.....melted the insulation off the wires on mine..

if ceramic coated , make sure u put cloth over the upper control arm mounts so you dont get any scratches on those pipes !!!!:elefant: :elefant:

Soak the exhaust manifold bolts and mid-pipe bolts with PB Blaster the night before you plan on doing the install. That will make a world of difference.
