Billet converters for the 48re available

Don't think any body would be disappointed. Don't forget to adjust or replace intermediate band with a kevlar one when tranny is dropped. I go to the track alot, so it was preventative maintenance for me. We used a lift so it wasn't too bad.
If that involves opening the tranny, then it's beyond my expertise. But the converter I can handle.

Just something I did to mine, I spray and race it a lot.I would just adjust it when you change fluid.

Yeah, I adjust them every 6 months and I only put about 3500 - 4000 miles on my truck in 6 months.

I know you got yorself one bone, how do you like yours?

LOLOL I know on the half, but if I posted that up and someone only got two tenths, then I would get bitched at:D

Love mine....honestly best mod I have done. First time I drove it after the install, I wasn't moving and couldn't figure it out. I looked behind me and there was smoke from the tires spinning, where I wasn't used to them spinning with the same amount of throttle applied. The mechanic laughed his butt off due to my expression!

We obviously don't have a lot of data for our trucks with a converter. However, L guys have been seeing .5 secs off their 1/4 mile time. Heck, search the internet for any vehicle with an upgraded converter.

You are shifting your HP/torque curve to the left by getting up in the RPMs quicker. More power to launch with at a dead stop or slow roll. Con: is you may burn more gas around town, not too much.

I put a 2800 stall on my Hemi truck too. Absolutely different vehicle with it.

I think there's more potential in mine, only have a few passes on it. Need to work on launch, got a little hot around here,115 degrees. Getting truck ready for cooler weather. Installing converter won't disappoint anybody.

Sounds great Tony. Have anything in the works for complete tranny rebuilds for high HP?

Hey Bone its Ram_vs_cougar. Who do you let perform maintenance on your vehicle? Do you have you own mechanic?
