Black headlight and taillight options

Can you VHT the headlights? Will it have the same effect that the covers do or will it be too dark?

You can VHT anything you like from headlights, tail lights to 1/4 glass. I myself wouldn't do the headlights though. Once spray drys it's quite a prick to remove and is something you only do once. It's on or off for good. Covers offer the pitch black look and the convenience or being able to remove them at night. You won't look cool when you crash your SRT/10 into a parked car due to poor lighting. The VHT is good and lights will shine through but for the sake of the cool factor vs. 70% or less of the original shine the headlights give just isn't worth it. The rear tail lights are a different story, they are to be seen, not seeing with.

Well, I went with covers for the rear..

I figure they match the front and they weren't too expensive. i like that I can remove them if needed, I just hope they dont fly off when Im cruisin at 160mph!! I can also sell a set of my taillights now, just gotta decide if im sellin the stockers or the LEDs..

Gotta do something about the 3rd brake light, Im thinkin this with "VIPER" across the center...

Hey Paul,

You should wet sand your tails with 1000 grit and then 2000 grit. Then put some 3m rubbing compound and polish them up with a Mother's power ball. They will be nice a glossy.[
Cool... I will do that next week. Did not know the final sequence!
