Blackviper Engine Build

Thats AWESOME!!!   Going to be hard to keep your foot out of it for a bit...but it will be worth it once it's perfectly tuned :burnout: :burnout: :burnout:
Way to go fellas:congrats:

Jay, I'll see how the Lysholm holds up before considering the Whipple. I'll be spinning it 16000 plus rpm's. Who knows it maybe sooner than later.

I don't think keeping my foot off of it will be a problem. I'll be to damn scared to break anything until Sean works his magic.

One thing worth mentioning. When we finally let the truck idle, it had no misfires. It was pretty damn smooth. The reason I bring this up is because those that have tried removing the diverter plates from the Roe manifold have not been able to get their trucks to idle correctly. It seems so far that the intercooler cores are creating enough resistance to even out the air flow.

That is some excellent info George:rock: ,best of luck your tune:congrats:

Just about done. I had to extensively modify the front bumper support bracket because of the heat exchanger but finally got it on. Once that was done everthing bolted right up. Here are a few pics. Also notice the matching Grille Craft mesh on the bumper. The custom traction bars is all that's left. Then off for some break-in miles.

Here is a vid of the truck running at idle. I tried to catch the cam lump. It sounds pretty awesome in person. I don't think the video does it any justice but here goes.

Glad she is finally running. Now go put some miles on that motor to break it in. I bet you feel like a proud Papa right about now.

Thanks guys. It's been a long time coming but definitely worth the wait.
