Blackviper Engine Build

Here is the latest mod. Gotta install the purge kit and traction bars next week and we're done.

ACR Viper

There is a guy in Jackson NJ with a road race ACR Viper that runs a Roe with a custom cooler like yours. He ran all year long with it. Big tank in the trunk and twin exchangers behind both fog light ducts.

.

Love to see that setup. The more ideas the better.

Thanks Yellow Venom and Stinker.

Here are some pics all loaded up and ready for the ride home. I have a few loose ends to finish up, including the tune and the Venom hood. Then it's done.

They are never done...

But they are fun in process!

Looks great. I haven't been staying up with this thread. What PSI and compression are you running ? I'm going with 8.5 to 1 compression and 8 PSI for the street and 12 PSI with 116 octane race gas for my track days.

9.5 to 1 and hopefully the Lysholm will push 15 lbs. That's yet to be seen since I'm still during the break-in period. I'm also intercooled so I don't know if I will need to run that high octane.

Thats alot of boost. I was at 9.5 to 1 and 8 psi. When I pulled the motor we found the head gaskets weeping and the intake was weeping. I also had heat issues in the rear of the engine. So I'm going to try 8.5 to1 to help with the heat.

I have my CR at 9:2:1 with a ROE and am going to be running 11 psi boost.

I wouldn't lower your compression at all. You will be using your S/C to compensate for the drop and as most, the S/C will not make enough boost.

It's hard to find a better looking wheel than stock on these trucks IMHO:)

I've always thought these 24's pulled it off:rock:  Awesome looking 10 george;)

Thanks guys. Hopefully I can put some more miles on it today now that the weather has finally cleared up.
