The EMS service I work full time for is ambulance only. All fire depts. in this county are volunteer stations. The unit in the photo is a BLS crash rescue/first responder truck. It is manned 24/7 by one EMT. It has full Jaws of Life, a foam suppression system, air packs, etc. It's pretty fun working alone. I like to be the first on scene. This station is in a very rural part of the county. Go to www.bonifayfire.com. That is volunteer fire dept I have been a member of since 10/2004. Click on "about us" and you can see our fire trucks. Nice pics Travis...been a long time since I provided EMS support to a volunteer fire dept...interesting to say the least. Some good guy's...:rock: interesting firehouse meetings that's for sure...some of the old timers have hard habits to break.
Not sure if your on or off tonight...thank God I am off on an R day...it's amateur night, and it will be busy for the FD here today...tonight.
We ran 24 hours solid last shift...was beat when I got home on Mon.

We build armored cars and swat trucks where i work and i can get those lights real cheap but if i got pullered over with those its in the slammer for me so i just dream of having them

Yes I get that building and truck to myself. There are 3 fire trucks in the bays but they are not manned. Just volunteer.

I worked 12 hours yesterday but got the 2nd half of the shift off.
