TYF- they will run in conjunction with the dash lights and dimmer control?

The production version connects to the light wires for the ashtray so they are controlled by the light switch. The prototype was on all the time, which I did not like, so we re-wired the switches and changed that.

I installed mine but did not plug it up to the lights yet. Been busy putting a deck on the house. In the next couple weekends I will connect up the lights.:rock:

Guys, we still do offer these, however I am out of them and will need to order some. The guy that does these for me is going on vacation for 3 weeks so realistically we're 3-4 weeks ourt before I can get another batch ready to ship out.

Speaking of that, we have been run over by large orders the last couple of weeks and we're behind on all our orders so those of you that have been waiting on something you've ordered from us, please be patient a little bit longer we'll get caught up and get this stuff out ASAP!!!

This is always a busy time of the year for us, the U of A is getting ready for football season so we always have dozens of very large orders with no lead time and we have to drop everything and work on them.

Steve, it's been 2 weeks since the manufacturer's went on vacation. Would I be right in assuming that the buttons maybe available in the week? My truck will be completed before I get the button, being fiberglass dash in parts and not wanting to remove/install it often in fear of breaking it, can I leave the start button panel/button hanging out of the dash until we get the button? I haven't checked with the shop being the weekend. It should still start shouldn't it? Also, does the panel the button sits in snap into place once the center dash area is in or is it something that needs to be installed prior to the dash. Hope this makes sense. I'm looking for a custom logo (nothing fancy) for my Batram.

I think you misunderstood the timeline, or I wasn't clear on it. I ordered the new buttons and they have shipped, I should receive them this week. The guy here that customizes them for me left for vacation yesterday, he won't be back for over 2 weeks. When he gets back he'll be buried and we'll get these done as part of his backlog, but as I said a week or so ago I believe, it'll likely be 3-4 weeks before these are ready to ship out. If I didn't lay the timeline out clearly, I apologize and I'll clear that up. I would plan on them shipping around 9/1/08, perhaps a little later, but not before.

The factory panel snaps/screws in place, and changing the switch out is pretty easy. Since I don't know what you're having done to your dash I can't really speak to how you should proceed...

Like the glowing parts, etc. Will you be receiving the buttons only or the whole switch system minus the custom fangs etc printed on them this week? I'd be keen to buy the switch/button setup in plain form if you have them and are willing to ship them out like that.

Carl, it is the entire switch with a custom button, but I will not have any ready to ship until 9/1 or after.

Thanks Steve. I still don't get if they have shipped to you, are on their way and it's the complete setup ready to install, why you can't ship 1? Your custom guy I believe does the logos, I am wanting one in plain form/no custom anything, just as you will receive them. So the logo guy being there won't make any difference? :dontknow: Hopefully that makes sense and I'm following you correctly.
