Wow, lots of hostility on this thread.
YellowFever - FYI there are a few guys out there running dedicated belt drives on theirs Paxtons in case you didn't know. And the Paxtons with these belt drives are very capable of producing 14-16 psi.
You can't compare the Paxton kit and Procharger kit. One is massed produced by a large company and the other is produced in very limited quanities by a small company. Which unit is best? Its all based on the individuals wants and needs.
Power - both units provide very similar numbers so long as boost levels are equal.
Looks - Me being the owner of a Paxton powered truck. I personally think the Procharger looks better.
Reliability - Paxton right now has it just because of the sheer number of units on the road. Just plain fact on this one.
Performance - Although the Prochargers have put up some serious numbers on the dynos they have not done so on the track. Until then Paxton has this one as well.
All that being said if the Procharger kit was available when I purchased my Paxton I would have choosen the Procharger. For the same reasons you mentioned before: looks, fuel system, exclusivity, etc...
But since I didn't Paxton is the BEST!!!!!!!!!!
